On a side note, this is the longest chain of items I’ve been able to make: The trees themselves, when shaken, drop their fruit quite realistically, and are known to drop certain other items, aside from their offspring, plantable at any spot from within your inventory.Ĭheck out what the tree dropped down! Right up there in the face of the king himself~ The rarest resource by far are the gems, red and shiny~ They fall from the fruit trees on occasion and can be a pain to get, especially for a certain 500 gem quest later on! It’s well worth it though… You may also have noticed the indicator tabs? Those tell the players where a certain object is, whether it is a bubble-enclosed goodie or a hostile entity! This makes taking care of the kingdom easier and reduces the chances of a monster or deer chomping up all of your resources. Notice how Coriander is dressed differently? She is to be wed~Īlso, you have the option of employing these monsters as workers, if you have the gems for it, as they cost 20 gems apiece until you gain five of them for Peach’s quest. Spoilers abound~ Please keep scrolling until the next piece of bold text if you do not wish to be spoiled! They can be dealt with using a bomb, with an all-purpose variant (destroying everything but the land in its effective area) and a deer-and-monster-only variant (destroying only the deer and monsters) available for purchase in the silver and steel stores. The standard workers you can hire are as such: Bunnis and Foxes, along with an extra unlockable mentioned later on!Īlso, you need to defend your resources from deer and monsters, of all things! Many different obstacles pave your way there however, since as king, you need to keep an eye on all your subjects (workers) and make sure that they’re working and eating properly! The objective of the game is to find love, and this obelisk-like tower will guide you there: Throughout the game, two characters with custom art are gained in the form of bubbles, Coriander and Peach.Ĭontrary to what you may have expected, Coriander is the pink one~ He has trapped several items within bubbles prior to the Cataclysm, which is, as its name suggests, a catastrophe causing its previous inhabitants to end up like Susanna… The game, as a city-builder, naturally sets you up with just barren land and a few supplies magically provided by Grandpa Angel. The main character is this Bunni – the king:Īnd that cheery ghost Bunni down there too, she will be your tutorial this evening~ This game is a city-builder, meaning we are expected to build our own village as a part of the simulation. Just that one bunny in lieu of the “u” is clarification enough for the players: this is a cute game~ This marks the first post of Phacelias and Reisings: A Gaming Blog! This blog consists of two writers – my good friend Reiche and yours truly, Phoebe, writing about flash games we play~Īs an official introductory statement can be found in the bio section, I will proceed with today’s Phacelia review of “Bunni: How we first met”!
